You know what that means it is black history month in the United States. If you are unaware what Black history month means it is a special month in which we celebrate all the things African Americans had to go through. Additionally we acknowledge all our black beauties accomplishments. Being a black owned business this month holds a special place in my Franchy heart. If it wasn’t for those that came before me I would not be able to own my own businesses. Nevertheless I’m not blind to all the perfectly imperfect injustice that African Americans continue going through each and everyday. Being a black history month famous people doesn’t help protect you from last years past of broken dreams either. Being black is never easy nor is it ever fair.
