Good evening, Lovelies. I do hope you are well and happy. Today, I wanted to get a little personal with you all and help you if you are also experiencing something similar. Today, I had a particularly intense worrying session. With no end in sight, truly. I was worried so much that my head and eyes began hurting me. Ya, it got pretty bad today and could have led to some serious consequences. Today, I wanted to delve deeper into stress and its potentially negative consequences for your wellbeing. We’re all about improving our well-being and achieving our very own happily ever after.
Stress is defined as “a natural psychological and physical reaction to challenges or demands in life.” Stress, like anything else, is not as harmful if it is in moderation. What is really dangerous to your well-being is constant and persistent worrying, which was my experience today. You want to know my frantastic distressor? I was reading a book. The book I was reading is Think and Grow Rich. It actually was an audiobook, so I mean I listened, not read. So my suggestion to you, if you are experiencing a strong stressful occurrence, is to try to divert your mind to a more positive thought. Yes, I understand that it’s not easy and may require some practice. For me, it was a book. For you, it can be something completely different. It’s incredible the power books can have on your overall well-being. It turns out that your teachers may have had a point. Do you love to read, Lovelies? If so, what is your favorite book? I hope you have a great night or day wherever you are in the world. Take care with love.
