Sleep is love, Lovelies. Let me tell you, I have watched my share of motivational videos that tell you, sometimes you need to miss your sleep to be successful. After yesterday, I have to say I disagree. Sleep is very important for your well-being. Yesterday I was doing my weekly trailer checks, and I did not get any sleep. Needless to say, it was tough to concentrate and do my work. Not to mention, I felt totally awful. The whole day, I just felt overwhelmingly tired. That day, I came home at 11:50 PM or so. So why is sleep so important?

When you sleep, your body has time to repair itself and prepare for the next day. With little to no sleep, you are putting your health and well-being at risk. Not sleeping properly can make you more susceptible to different illnesses. Your brain works hard all day; it needs to rest. I remember how bad my headaches were yesterday. When I woke up the next day, I still had a headache. That was my brain thanking me for not sleeping. You should get around 7 to 9 hours of sleep each and every day. Sleep is the ultimate self-care.
