Hiya Lovelies. I hope this lovely article finds you well. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but my wellness posts are based on real-life situations I’m currently experiencing, so they can sometimes be a bit personal. With my branding for Franchy Luv, I share sweet, imperfect pieces with you, hoping to inspire. I genuinely hope to help you and inspire you. With that said, I wanted to talk about a topic near and dear to my sweet heart. I feel overwhelmed and learning how to balance my life with my perfectly imperfect business. “Being overwhelmed negatively impacts overall well-being by causing both mental and physical health issues. “
Ya Lovelies, I do a lot as I have multiple streams of income and work seven days a week. But I’m not complaining, this is what I wanted and decided to do. I said I wanted to work on my own perfectly imperfect dreams, not someone else’s. For the most part, I enjoy working for myself and having the flexibility to choose my own schedule. It can just be overwhelming at times, impacting my well-being and state of mind. This Friday was one such day I had to do trailer checks and lobby checks at AMC theaters. I got home at night and left in the morning. Additionally, I’m expected to attend to some work on my other business activities when I return home. That is the thing about owning a business. You can never truly clock out. You are always on the clock, working, it seems. I have accepted that I can never take the entire day off; I can only take part of the day off. As mentioned before, one thing I have been doing to improve my well-being is taking some ‘me time’ through meditation. Sometimes, doing nothing and watching a movie can also be equally helpful. The primary way to prevent burnout is by maintaining a schedule that supports your overall well-being. Many people don’t truly grasp the importance of mental health and life-sustaining wellbeing. We are always concerned about our physical health. What we fail to realize is that it begins and ends in the mind. So be good to yourself, Lovelies. Grab some of your favorite ice cream and sit down in front of the TV, take a well-deserved wellness break. You are worth it. Have a blessed day or night wherever you are in the world. Bye, take care with love.
