Hello World Fitters!

So this week, to be more exact yesterday I lost 3 pounds. Yes I know 3 pounds isn’t much but it’s a start. Come with me let’s start our body loving  movement. Love your body enough to take good care of it.

I see a lot of people are ashamed of their over weight bodies. Many of them are like I can’t believe I ever let my body get that fat. I will be honest I’m guilty of the same thing. When I put on some extra weight I feel a bit ashamed of myself. It’s time we  stop putting our bodies down and work towards our problems. For instance I feel the reason that I failed at having my perfect body was because I was being too lazy. Being lazy is nothing to be proud of so it was understandable that I had no pride in what I did.

Today I’m able to follow a routine and keep my laziness at bay. I currently workout between 6 and 7 days per week. Now that it’s colder I won’t be going out to  exercise so I will be working out less. That is not a problem I just need to keep motivated. Do you need some motivation World Fitters?   • Be Apptastic- Use your phones to keep motivated. There are a lot of apps to help you maintain your weight. For instance I’m currently using three apps to help me exercise. My favorite is Pact because it rewards you for your effort each week. Want to know more about Pact click here?
  • That’s what friends are for- I know from experience that having a partner is the best way to stay motivated. For example, when my boyfriend was able to come with me for my walks I was able to get the most out of my workout. Having the support from your friends and family can give you the extra push that you need to get to your perfect weight.   • Step your way to fitness- I originally wasn’t  too fond of using a scale to manage my weight. I thought it wasn’t necessary in my weight loss journey. It turns out that using a scale is one of the best ways to keep you motivated. When you step on a scale and you watch the numbers change and you see that you lost 10 pounds, that is one of the best feelings. You feel ecstatic that your hard work paid off. Feel more ecstatic by rewarding yourself with a gift  go on.
  • It all starts and ends with you- Thats right you are your best motivational tool.  You know I’m not down with body shaming. I never understand when people put others down for how big their body is. Your weight is your business, you are the only one who can shape your perfect body. You have to decide to live a healthier lifestyle. Make the choice to love your body no matter what other people say.
